Best place to stay in Lakes Entrance, great service,clean and beautiful romantic cottages. Very fresh breakfast and very friendly owners. We loved the Alpacas thank you Peter for taking the time to feed them with my daughter.
Loved this little cottage! So clean and neat, it was fantastic to get away from the hustle and bustle just to relax on the verandah with the birds. Nice roaring fire to keep us toasty as well. Definitely a romantic getaway. Although theres no wifi, you wont miss it! Cute alpacas too!
Beautifully furnished self-contained, off-the-grid cottages. Owners are lovely and check in regularly to make sure all is well and nothing is running low. Love the fireplaces and seclusion. Only 4 cottages on the property and all a good distance from each other to ensure privacy. Mobile reception is poor with everyone but Telstra but is a good chance to disconnect.
What a great hidden gem! I had never been to this part of Victoria and we spent a wonderful 3 day weekend here. The cabins are spaced apart enough to provide privacy but close enough to not feel isolated. The Alpacas provided entertainment and a wake up one morning! The cottages are decorated with country charm and the fireplace is the best feature. There is no heat or air conditioning but the fire is enough to beat the cold and it wasn't too hot for us. The beds are comfortable, we were in the 2 bedroom cottage. The breakfast provided is fresh eggs, bacon and milk. The kitchen is perfectly stocked to cook up your brekkie and grill on the deck. I loved the fact that breakfast was supplied uncooked so you can make it to your taste whenever. The bacon was amazing! I totally recommend this place and hope to go back. They are cash only.
