If you enjoy going for a walk then you will like this one. There are several walks that you can take once on the island. There's a more sheltered walk that that runs along the inland side all the way out to the entrance to the harbour. There's also a historic area with lots of interesting old machinery. Alternatively you can walk along the beach on the ocean side. 2nd time we went was late in the day and the wind was blowing a gale, made for a very exciting crossing over the foot bridge and the beach was deserted as the weather was bordering on unpleasant, but we still enjoyed our walk as the rough surf was very spectacular.
